Ms. Barbara "Ms. Barb" Kay Jennings departed this life on October 15, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Barbara was born on April 16, 1949, to Joe Pat Jennings and Lamanda Jane Woods. She was a graduate of Gate City High School.

Barbara was very outgoing and could make a friend anywhere she went. She was always trying to do something to help those around her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Lifford; parents, Joe Pat Jennings and Lamanda Jane Woods; paternal grandparents, Robert Jennings and Nevada McClellan; maternal grandparents, Rebecca Royal Woods and Emanuel Woods; brother, Hal Jennings; and several aunts and uncles.

Barbara is survived by her three sons, Michael Lifford, Jeffrey Scott Lifford, and Chad Jennings; daughter, Lamanda "Mandie" Hines; grandkids, Anthony Aaron, Kaylene, Darian, Seth, Jyran, Mahala, Shyla, and Lyriq; several great-grandkids; brothers, Joe Edgar Jennings and Brad Jennings; and aunt, Barbara "Bobbie" Quillen.
