Bill George "William" Batiste, age 73, of Bristol, TN went home to be with our Lord and Savior on December 13, 2023.

Most knew him as William, but he was most importantly known as Uncle BIll. He was a veteran of our U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member of Hood Memorial A.M.E. Zion church, attended Ari Yehudah Messianic Congregation, and volunteered at the Mission on E. State St. in Bristol TN.

He is survived by his sister, Tennie Curtis; his brother, Wayne Batiste; one step-son, Kippie Brown; three nephews, David Batiste, Jeremiah Batiste and Tyler Batiste; one niece, Amber Mann; four great-nieces and two great-nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Hood Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. They are located at 612 5th St. Bristol, TN 37620, for anyone who would like to come out and help the family celebrate Bill's life.
