Bobby Joe Loftin departed this life on November 2, 2024, at his residence. He was born on January 22, 1954, in Columbia, Tennessee.

Bobby worked at the wastewater treatment plant in Kingsport, Tennessee. He was a member of Mt. Zion Holiness Church. He was passionate about basketball, football, and caring for people. He often said, "I love my family and love helping people."

He was preceded in death by his mother, Novelean Loftin, and his daughter, Kristie Steele.

To cherish his memory, Bobby leaves behind his wife, Donna Loftin; children, Jeremiah Loftin, Josiah Loftin, Shay Hill, Aria Steele, Harrison Steele, and Naomi Steele; grandchildren, Derrick (Natalie) Steele, Jamarl Steele, Jabez Steele, Kosiah Steele, Jada, Jaslyn, Genesis Rotich, Lincoln, and Winston; siblings, Sheila Tidwell, Calvin Loftin, Steve Alred, and Kenneth Loftin; aunt, Irene (John) Hooks; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
