Ms. Brenda A. English, 83, of Petersburg, Virginia, departed this life on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born in Bristol, Virginia, one of nine siblings.

She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Carl English; mother, Mrs. Edna Davis English; eldest sister, Mrs. Chiquita E. Owens; and brother, Mr. Carlton L. English, who passed away on March 7, 2023.

To cherish her memories, Brenda leaves behind her sister, Ms. Piccola English of Galax, Virginia, Mrs. Clara E. Dulaney, Mrs. Vivian (Douglas) Releford, both of Kingsport, Mrs. Theresa (Emanuel) Courtland of Strongsville, Ohio, Ms. Billie Anderson of Bristol, Tennessee, and Ms. Gloria English of Bristol, Virginia.
