Christopher Avery Bunche Sr., fondly referred to as "Bunche," departed this Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1986 in Bristol, Tennessee.

Christopher attended Science Hill High School and later started "Catch the Message Moving and Cleaning Company." He was very proud of his work in the business. He enjoyed watching YouTube videos and listening to music in his spare time. Above all, Christopher loved to spend time with his children and family. He especially loved attending his two youngest children's sporting events. With his untamed sense of humor, he was always cracking jokes and getting a laugh out of those around him. Christopher will be missed for his loyalty and heart of gold.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlotte Ruth and Clarence Wilson; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Wayne Gammon; and brother, Todd Bunche.

To cherish his memory, Christopher leaves behind his former wife with whom he shared many meaningful years and a loving family, Ashlei Jackson; children, Christopher Avery Bunche Jr., Averyana Kaechel Bunche, and Chrishyra Ajzay Bunche; mother, Betty Renee Bunche; father, Kim Gammon; siblings, Jaslyn (Tayler) Miller, Jasmyn (Marcus) Briscoe, Shani Woods, Justice (Curtis) Jones, Justin Thompson, Demia Smith, and Kaleigh Woolwine; grandmother, Thelma Mae Gammon; aunts, Katherine Gammon, Moneka Bunche, Wanda Bunche, and Tracy Sorrells; uncles, Kacy Gammon and Dewayne Bunche; his two favorite cousins, Shantel McComb and Orlando Gammon; nieces and nephews, A'Janae Smith, Amareah Smith, Jamontae Miller, Adayiah Briscoe, Jayda Briscoe, and Jordyn Jones; close friends, Chaz Wilburn and Virdez Evans; and many cousins and friends.
