Christopher D. Carter departed this life Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was born on November 2, 1993, in Bristol, Tennessee.

Chris was a 2012 graduate of Virginia High school. He had a love for basketball and wanted to be a basketball coach. He also had a passion for animals and was working toward opening a dog kennel.

Chris leaves the earth to join in Heaven his step-father, Emmett Buford; uncle, Richard Carter; cousin, Joshua Bunche; and aunt, Sonya Newton.

He leaves behind his mother, Renee Carter; father, Dejuan Walker; brothers, D'Quares Carter and Tavares Carter; daughters, Azaela, La'Kiya, Za'meriya, and Mylay Fields; grandparents, Sharon and Larry Newton; great-grandmother, Georgia Carter; aunt, Kanika Tucker; uncle, who was like a father, Cory Tucker; significant other, Summer Fricker; and several cousins and friends.
