Elsie Louise Davis Boyd went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 26, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1945, in Bristol, Virginia. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Elsie lived in Los Angeles, California for many years and was employed by the county of Los Angeles. She moved back to Bristol in 1990. She was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles V. Davis, Sr., and Lillie C. Davis.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Linda Davis Rhea, and husband Lawrence, Ms. Connie Davis, and Ms. Rita Davis, all of Bristol, Tennessee; one brother, Charles V. Davis, Jr., also of Bristol, Tennessee; two nephews, Larry and Tim Rhea; one aunt; and many cousins.

Funeral services for Ms. Elsie Boyd will be conducted Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 2 pm from New Hope Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Eastern Heights Cemetery, Bristol, Tennessee.
