Gloria Miller departed this life on Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, on May 4, 1947, to Katherine Louise Price and Esau Dock Lewis.

Gloria worked at a sewing factory, Wright's Country Cuisine, and retired from Brookhaven Manor as a housekeeper. She then briefly worked at Goodwill. Throughout her life, Gloria catered events, baking delicious cakes and pies, and also styled hair in the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine Louise (Jerry) Price and Esau Dock Lewis; her grandmother, Daisy Miller; her granddaughter, Jalisa Ferguson; and her great-granddaughter, Jai-Lesa Dulaney.

To cherish her memory, Gloria leaves behind her children, Mary L. Beatty of Kingsport, Demetria "Diane" (Isaiah) McIver of Georgia, Patricia "Patty" (Chris) Miller of Kingsport, and Vincent "Bumpy" (Angela) Randall of Johnson City; her special dog, Coco; sisters, Prince Stella Miller Daniels, Miranda (Ricky) Deboard, and Rose Mary (William) Hunter; her cousin who was like a sister, Marie Finley; grandkids, Keyonna (Javonta), Santel, Patrick, Jamekia, Landon, Michael, Malik, Jamal, Sarah, and Treece; special daughters, Temeka Hill and Tammy Adams; special granddaughter, Shamika Long; godson, Tyrone Phillips; special friends, Tina Releford and Patricia Horton; and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.
