August 16, 2022- April 21, 2022Mr. James Author McCreary, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at NHC Healthcare of Bristol, Virginia.James was born August 16, 1937, to the late Author and Lena McCreary in Wagner, SC. After James, also known as "Little Jimmy," moved to Bristol, he held several jobs and retired from JJ Hines after 25 years of service as a truck driver. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. James is survived by his son, Troy (Tonda) Graham of Bristol, TN; daughters, Iris Tink Gudger of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Shamone Haley of Nashville, TN; and a host of grandchildren.
