Obituary

Our beloved Jennifer Stephens was born in Willingboro, New Jersey, on July 4th, 1974. Jennifer and her twin Jessica (Stephens) Singleton were God's first gifts to one another, sharing a unique and treasured bond that will last a lifetime. She lived in Willingboro where she attended John F. Kennedy High School, making many good friends and forming lifelong relationships.

In her early youth, Jennifer moved to Anchorage, Alaska to finish school. She always shared her fond memories of the Alaskan landscape, the northern lights, and her first job working at the mall, where she and her friends enjoyed life and each other. As a young woman, Jennifer moved to Tennessee, where she cared for her two beautiful children, Brian and Bianca, whom she cherished, and later cared for her beloved granddaughter Bean. While living in Kingsport for more than 20 years, she worked as a Customer Service Agent for Service Merchandise in Jonesboro and Craftmatic in Kingsport. She formed endearing relationships among neighbors, teachers, and many people she encountered and will always be remembered fondly and dearly missed by her family. Jennifer was also blessed to share a loving, compassionate relationship with George Caroll, who helped care for her and her family with loving devotion.

Jennifer Stephens is survived by her children, Brian Stephens and Bianca Murray, and her beloved granddaughter Bean. Jennifer's greatest pursuit was always her family, whom she loved unconditionally; a mother's love beyond compare. She is also survived by her beloved grandmother, Leatha Wright of Mt. Holly, NJ, whom she cherished dearly; mother, Annette Peterson of Willingboro, NJ; aunt, Jennifer; will be remembered by nephews, Gene Phoenix, Michael, Richard, Shaun, Julien, Dominique; nieces, Shawna, Jazmine, and Raquel; and sister in law "Kimmy" and "Gramma Margaret". Many family members and many many friends will all cherish wonderful memories of Jennifer Stephens.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear.... be still and know that I am God...the lord Almighty is with us": Psalm 46:1-2, 10-11
