Jo Ann (Grubbs) Yates, age 63, was born on March 16, 1961, and was a long-time Fall Branch, Tennessee community member. She went to be with her heavenly family on November 8, 2023. Jo Ann was born in the Bowmantown/Limestone community and attended Sulphur Springs and Daniel Boone High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jo (Rector) and Albert Wayne Grubbs; her husband, David Yates; and two grandchildren, Christopher Yates and Breanna Pendley.

She leaves behind two sons, Daniel Yates, Brandon Yates, and long-time fiance, Brittany Dykes; daughter, Paula (Yates) Pendley; grandchildren, Daniel Jr, Lucian, Meela, and Allie Yates, as well as Jasmine and Leif Pendley. There are so many family and friends to mention that we couldn't begin to count them.

We all loved Jo Ann, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Any guests can be relieved at the home at 111 Taylor Lane, Fall Branch, TN.

Memorial services for Ms. Jo Ann Yates will be conducted on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 3 pm to 6 pm at Fall Branch Church of Christ. Burial will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 3 pm from Providence Church Cemetery.
