Kenneth Wayne Gammon Sr., also known as "Big Wayne" to his friends and family, left his earthly bond on August 2, 2022, to be with the holy father. He was born on February 2, 1939, to Mr. John Gammon and Ms. Christina Penn in Bristol, VA.

He was raised in Bristol, Virginia, and Tennessee; he graduated from Slater High School. Upon graduating, he joined the Army, where he served for ten years. He spent ten years working for Coca-Cola and 37 years at the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier.

Big Wayne leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Thelma M. Gammon; six children, Kenneth Jr., Keith, Kevin, Kim, Kathy, and Kacy; nieces, Christina Howard and Sharon Williams; nephew, Clifton Howard; 20 grandkids; and 24 great-grandkids.

Big Wayne, thank you for your service. You will be missed more than I can express.

The family will be conducting a private graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Kenneth "Big Wayne" Gammon.
