Lucas Alvarado, also known as "Luka," "Luke," and "Duke," departed this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Ballad Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 6, 1978, to Dagoberto Alvarado and Johanna Beston in Boonton, New Jersey.

Lucas was a 1996 graduate of Hopatcong High School in Hopatcong, New Jersey. He then earned a degree in information tech from the Dover Business College. Lucas had a warm personality and optimistic demeanor. He often said, "May the best of your todays be the worst of your tomorrows". He enjoyed cooking, music, playing basketball and cards, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dagoberto Alvarado; paternal grandparents, Lucas Ramos and Maria Burgos; and maternal grandparents, William and Lavine Beston.

To cherish his memory, Lucas leaves behind his wife, Carisma Alvarado; children, Cardell Georges, Lucas Alvarado, Jr., and Gabriel Alvarado; mother, Johanna Beston of New Jersey; step-mother, Barbara Alvarado of Florida; siblings, Kelly Beston of New Jersey, Toby Beston of New Jersey, and Victor Alvarado of South Carolina; two great-nieces; his god-mother; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
