Marie Thompson Scott departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Ballad Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born on July 26, 1948, in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Marie was a graduate of Douglass High School. She had a warm heart and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Thompson, and her sister, Paige Morrison.

To cherish her memory, she leaves behind Robert Lane, her special companion for over 30 years, and many family and friends.
