Mary Etta Delapp departed this March 9, 2019, at Christian Care Center in Blountville, TN. She was a member of Lee Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Douglass, Sr.; son Fred Douglass, Jr.; and grandson Daniel Hill. To cherish her memory Mary Etta leaves her daughter, Camilla (Dwayne) Hill; sisters, Patricia Goins and Sue (David) Bradley; grandchildren, Gabrielle Hockaday, and Alexis Pendleton; great-grandchildren, Landon and Lathan Hockaday; and her best friend for 68 years, Idamae Adams whom she met when they were 11 years old.A memorial service for Ms. Delapp will be conducted Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm from Lee Street Baptist Church.
