Mary Evelyn Higgins, 85, of Fall Branch was called home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2020surrounded by her family.She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and niece. She enjoyed reading,crocheting, quilting, playing the piano, and cross stitching. Family members, friends, and strangers weretouched and blessed by her many talents.Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Dale Taylor.Survivors include her husband, Elmer Higgins; children, Michael (Teresa) Parker and RickeyParker; granddaughter, Sarah (Steve) Osborne; sister, Ann Taylor; nephews, Alan Cross andJohn Barham; great-nephew, Kevin Barham; great-niece, Jazmine Barham; and aunt, Margaret Ray Bragg.A formal service is not scheduled at this time. A celebration of Evelyn's life will be scheduled by thefamily at a later date.
