Matthew Logan Sweeney, 26, Dungannon, Va, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Holston Valley Hospital. Matthew was born at Holston Valley on March 4, 1990.He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Logan and Ruby Irene Sweeney; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Lucas; and his maternal great grandmother, Margaret Lucas.He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Melissa Sweeney. His fiancé Ashley Riner and daughter Olivia Jane Sweeney. His sisters Lacy Sweeney and Elizabeth Grace Wells. His aunt Lisa Mathes- Huerta and uncle Johnny Sweeney. His aunt Amanda Lucas and uncle Jason Webb. His uncle Douglas Lucas and wife Kathie.His special brothers- Christopher Dockery, Donovan Lane, Christopher Ball, Cody Wells, Mitch Rose, and Todd Cozart.Along with several great aunts and uncles, and many cousins and friends.The family will celebrate his life on Saturday, July 23 at his church.
