Mr. Michael Brice departed this life Monday, June 12, 2017 at Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center after a brief illness. Michael was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was employed by Brock for the past 17 years.

Michael devoted his life to his young son and best friend, Mike; coaching his basketball and football teams. He invested most of his time developing our youth. He wanted to instill in them a hope and belief in themselves and their dreams. He lived by the motto, "Pay it forward".

He departed from here to join his father, Eugene Brice; sister, India Releford; grandmother, Marie Bradley; and nephew, Jarrett Hughes.

He left one son, Michael Deshone Brice; his mother, Bernice Brice; four sisters, Donna Garrett, Marian Brice, Elaine Brice, and Charlotte Erwin; as well as two brothers, Gary and Andre Releford. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday June 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm from Shiloh Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Kenneth Calvert officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Brice Cemetery Petersburg,TN.
