Sammy Campbell, 54, entered Heaven's gates Saturday, November 21, 2020. He will be remembered for his smile, caring heart, extremely long stories, and never knowing a stranger.
Born and raised in Bristol, Virginia, Sam graduated from Virginia High School and went to work in the tour bus industry for Yellow Coach Bus Lines for several years. The next twenty years he worked as a commercial driver for local hauling companies. In 2014, he retired from driving due to health issues.
Sam is survived by his wife, Tabitha "Essie" Campbell, Blountville, Tennessee; his sons, one by blood, Colby Campbell, of the home, and one by love, Christopher Wild (Haley), Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; his twin brother, Randy "Juice" Campbell, Blountville, Tennessee; his sister, Lisa Blevins (James) Abingdon, Virginia; as well as a host of nieces, and nephews. Per Sam's request, there will not be a service.
