Thomas R. Rhea departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2024, at his residence. He was born on December 4, 1957, to Joe Bert and Sally Rhea in Souix St. Marie, Michigan.

Thomas was a graduate of Holston High High School in Damascus, Virginia. He was a member of Highlands Fellowship Church. Thomas was a sweet and compassionate man. He looked out for others, giving what he had to help those in need. He had a heart of gold and will be missed deeply by those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Sally Rhea, and his brother, Joe Rhea III.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joyce Rhea; son, Eugene (Jill) Snead; grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, and Emma Snead; brothers, Rich Rhea and Joe Sparks; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
