Veda Yolanda
Clark Delaney
Aug 7, 1954 — Sep 9, 2025
Mrs. Veda Yolanda Clark DeLaney, born August 7, 1954, peacefully transitioned from this life on September 9, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Clark, whose love and guidance shaped her life.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her devoted husband, Mr. John A. DeLaney, Jr.; her three sisters, Sandra Tucker, Ramona Simmons, and Marzetta Burks; and her brother, Robert Clark.
Veda dedicated 17 years of service to the Bristol Virginia Public School System. Her radiant spirit, kind heart, and joyful love of shopping brought happiness to everyone around her. More than anything, she cherished her family and friends, always making them feel loved and cared for.
To cherish her memory, she leaves six daughters: Tia Clark, Demetris "Dee" Davis, Melinda Foster, La'Tanji (Jamie) Clark Stafford, Jamila (Alex) Youngblood, and Khadija (Charles) Clark Byron. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Aisha (Lisa) Clark, Shane Clark, Kejhan (Brittany) Clark, Ashaad DeLaney, Ashanti (Pharoah) Youngblood, Amadi (Jamel) Youngblood, Ajaani DeLaney, and Jaivion Clark, each of whom holds a special piece of her heart.
Her legacy continues to shine through her great-grandchildren: Arianna, Sa'Vagè, Amayah, Qamari, Qamani, Azori, Aaliyah, Amiri, Qj, Ahmii, Jabari, Jamari, Jakai, Alahni, and Chosyn.
She also shared a special bond with her nieces, Sally "Vette" Clark, Kiyanna (Rashawn) Court, and Kayera Clark; her nephew, David (April) Burks; and a loving circle of extended family and friends.
The family extends a very heartfelt gratitude to Keisha Honaker and Deahana Roller for their compassion, unwavering care, and support.
